The new Motorola Edge 30 smartphones redefine what "fast charging" is.

Motorola was a major player in the mobile phone industry until Apple and Samsung took over. The "Hello, Moto" catchphrase that the company's phones would announce each time they were turned on was known to millions of people worldwide. With the release of three new smartphones, the Edge 30 Ultra, Edge 30 Fusion, and Edge 30 Neo, Motorola has finally made a comeback, much like the motto.

Motorola's new gadgets are expected to offer a premium cell phone insight - and they positively have a few great specs - while keeping up with undeniably more reasonable sticker costs than the gadgets that as of now rule the cell phone perch. Motorola's possibilities testing the predominance of the previously mentioned brands are thin at this stage, however the Edge range unquestionably works really hard with regards to feel and could solidify Moto's situation as a brand deserving of thought, especially for the individuals who would rather not burn through thousands on their next gadget.

Motorola Edge 30 Ultra

With its 200MP primary sensor, the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra, the line's flagship, boasts some very astounding specs, including the highest resolution smartphone camera available today. With a quality of over 33 million pixels, Motorola claims the phone's 8K video recording also sets a new standard in the industry. Additionally, the phone has a 60MP front-facing camera, allowing you to take selfies in all of their detailed beauty. Whether you choose to do so is entirely up to you, though.

The Edge 30 Ultra's ability to charge via TurboPower is another impressive feature. While many companies opt to distribute their phones without a charging cable because they believe it promotes sustainability, we believe it also helps them save a lot of money. Motorola's Edge 30 Ultra includes a massive 125W charger that, according to the manufacturer, can fully charge your phone in just seven minutes. We gave it a quick test, and we can confirm that charging happens really quickly.

Motorola Edge 30 Fusion

The Motorola Edge 30 Fusion is the middle child of the new Edge lineup, but it may also be the best-looking one thanks to its Solar Gold finish, one of the most eye-catching smartphone accents we've seen in a while. The Edge 30 Fusion is equipped with a pair of sizable Dolby Atmos-capable stereo speakers, just like the Ultra. It also has a slightly less potent version of Motorola's TurboPower technology, which takes 10 minutes to complete what the Ultra completes in 7.

Motorola Edge 30 Neo

The entry-level device for the Edge line is the Motorola Edge 30 Neo. While it would be ungracious to anticipate too much at this price point, it does have a chicly slender design, adequate specs to satisfy the demands of the majority of users, and the same TurboPower option as the Fusion device. In addition, Pantone, a leading global authority on colour, and Motorola worked together to create the Very Peri colour option for the Neo, which is the "colour of the year."

Starting in October, the Neo in Very Peri and Black Onyx will be priced at AUD$599 and be available (exact date TBC). Starting on September 27, the Fusion will be sold for AUD$899 and come in Cosmic Grey and Solar Gold. And when it debuts in October, the Ultra will cost AUD$1,399 and come in Interstellar Black (again, exact date TBC).
